the most impacted population are in India, China and Africa. It’s because of the infrastructure and prevention are less developed than USA or EEA. Asia is vusialised as such a big part also because of the high population density.

Repartition of all the natural disasters in the world in 2010.  You can see that there is quite a high number of blue and green dots, which means hydrological as well as meteorological events. Quite a high percentage is concentrated in the eastern part of the United States. As well as in South-East Asia occur a high number of these disasters.

Repartition of Tropical depression in the world, we can see the most impacted area like Japan or the Gulf of Mexico. The map shows the past 150 years of hurricanes on earth until 2005. As you can see, the most powerful hurricanes of category five appear in the area around Japan. This is due to the high sea temperature in this region

Increase of natural disasters in Europe (European Economic Area) during the same period.  In average, there seem to me more meteorological as well as hydrological events. This can be for example floods or storms.

Evolution of natural disasters in the United States about 1980 to 2008. The number of events more than doubled since 1980. We can see that the Meteorological and climatological disasters are maybe coordinate with the climate change. This disasters are for example storms, which is shown in green, or extreme temperatures, which is shown in yellow.
